Troubleshooting Wireless Connection
Having a wireless
networking may really be convenient, but it may also cause you a lot of
trouble whenever it malfunctions.

It can really be a drag when you are in the middle of surfing
the net and downloading your favorite movie when all of a
sudden, your connection is cut. Ergo, you are left with nothing
but your computer and the file that you were downloading.
Therefore, it is very important for you to be aware of the
things that you should do to troubleshoot wireless connections,
if ever they run out of hand.
First, you should
check the network settings by verifying the
IP address and other related information. You should also check
if your network card is working properly. Some of the common
problems that wireless connections have lies on the fact that
the network card is not working as we wish it would be. Disable
the cards one by one to identify the network card which is
malfunctioning.
You may also
move the laptop or computer closer to the
router. Sometimes, wireless connections go out of hand because
of inadequate signal performance which can be caused by
interrupting the signals in the wireless connection. A problem
as trivial as a shiny floor may affect your internet connection,
because it interrupts with the frequency range of your wireless
connection. Also check if the correct drivers are properly
installed in your computer. These are just some of the important
troubleshooting guides that you need to be aware of.
